Everybody stop. Everybody stare.
After many years of submitting work to this publication, I was finally chosen in this years American Illustration annual!!! The jury met in March to select the year's best images from 8,742 pictures submitted by 1,282 illustrators, magazines, agencies, publishers and schools. Only 369 images were selected by a majority vote from this year's distinguished jury Jordan Awan from The New Yorker, Sergio Baradat from the United Nations Postal Administration, Chad E Beckerman from Abrams publishing, Joele Cuyler from Real Simple, Jennifer Daniel from Bloomberg Businessweek, Grace Lee from Priest + Grace agency and Alexandra Zsigmond from The New York Times.
