I should have finished these a long time ago, but better late than never. I dunno which one I like better, or if either one really puts across the idea of what I had in mind when I began. The top was simply MCA on his beatbox machine, sliding around town on a skateboard as an enlightened one in NYC. The bottom was an idea of all the MCA reincarnations from his movie label to his Beastie Boys video personas. The color is overboard, but I was trying to capture the Tibetan thangka look. ANYHOW, for good or for ill, here is my dedication to MCA.
