Flickr link to Holga images
I used a crappo plastic camera when I went on my trip to Africa. I did this on purpose because I love how film looks imperfect compared to digital photography. Not to mention that the camera had a million light leaks and went through an x-ray machine about 20 times before my trip was over.
The Holga camera is one step up from a home made pinhole camera. You have no idea if your exposure will work out or if your subject is in focus. I am just happy that they came out at all. To go to the link on Flickr, just click on the photo above to or go here.

NYHard Times, July cover and comic page
I had the idea for the cover of NY Hard Times when I saw some clip art of a Popsicle. I thought it looked like the shape of Manhattan, so I went from there. It has been so insanely hot here that it made some kind of sense in a visual pun kind of way. As for the comic page, I had to do a dedication to Harvey Pekar.

Ilustration Friday - Satellite
Just signed up with Illustration Friday, a blog where illustrators get to submit drawings to a weekly topic. This week the topic is satellite. I thought I would have cell phones orbiting a satellite.
